How I came to Buying a Home in the Village of Slatina
About Me
Welcome to the About Me part of Central Bulgaria website My Name is Michael Craig and I brought a House on my first visit to Bulgaria in the Villgae of Slatina, I looked at many houses across Bulgaria and with the help of a receptionist at the hotel Brod in Sofia where I was staying We started looking along the rose Valley around Karlovo
After arranging with Bulgaria properties to met their local representatives from Karlovo we started out to look at a few properties including house in Rosino, Karnere, Sopot and Karlovo but when we entered the village of Slatina something just told me I was in the right place
We Were Shown two Houses in the Village and went for the 2nd one right away even though I, liked both of them this is were we met out new family the Marinovo Family and have never looked back since we got the house in 2004 in fact all I do is dream of when I can be there more and more at the minute we have to settle of going 6 times a years as i am just a little to young to retire

The Marinovo Family
Well This is where I met Velicka Marinovo my new Sister and my Bulgarian Family who without them my life in Bulgaria I think would have been very different the whole family have welcomed me and Paula to their family.
When we go their home nothing seem to much for Baba Rada and Papa Marin, We were made to feel welcome from the very first day we arrived in the village this included the whole village,
We had neighbours dropping by and giving us food something I have never experienced in England so now you know why I miss Bulgaria so much when I have to go back to the UK to work all I think of is Bulgaria and My Family there but soon I will move there soon to live sadly I am too young to retire
