Bulgaria is among 11 States within the EU who have signed a letter sent to the Enropean Commission demanding that the country takes back control of its Pensions, Labour Market, Employment and Educations.

Bulgaria along with Ireland, The Netherlands, Austia have writting to the European Commission ahead of the social summit of EU Leader which is due to meet in Portugal in May

The 11 Member states said in the letter that the EU should respect that every memebr state in the EU which was signed and sent on behalf of Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Bulgaria, Ireland, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Malta.

The Scheme which is being setup by the EU has stated that certain employment targets or Social Protection and Employment and Skill need to be reach by 2030 but the 11 EU states have voiced Concerns that not every state can reach those targets at the same time as some countries like France and Germany are ahead of these targets

Sadly Again the EU do not seem to listen when the smaller eastern member states express their concerns and this needs to change we all have an equal say not just France and German says one MEP

Many UK Families are worried because the UK has now left the EU that their lives will be affected but there just maybe some good news for those who still want to own or live in Bulgaria after Brexit has happened so just in case you didn't Know Northern Ireland is part of the UK, However, under the Belfast Agreement also known as the Good Friday Agreement

Northern Ireland is still in the single market but most important anyone including Parents and your Grandparent can choose to be Irish citizens, British citizens or both. If they choose to be both British and Irish citizens, this means they have a dual citizenship.

If you either of your parents or Grandparent was born anywhere on the Island of Ireland you are also entitled to get a Irish passport by decent.

Like my Mother, Father and Grandparents were all born in Belfast means that my brother and myself can apply for a Irish Passport and Remember Ireland or Eire is not leaving the european Union so Be like me who's Mother and Father was born in Belfast I obtained My Irish Passport which now entitles my daughter to get one also my daughter Child when old enough to remain citizens of the European Union

You can find out more about the different types of citizenship at the links below.

The Town of Karlovo was host to a group of Mayors from all over Bulgaria protesting to ensure that the little Towns and Villages across the Country were demanding tat the law was changed to ensure that as representatives of their people their areas would recieve the money they where entitled to from the big municipalities

Local Mayors all over Bulgaria gathered again in the town of Kalofer for a silent protest.

The protesting Mayors would like to see financial independence from the large town council who control what money they get and when the silent protest took place in the town of Kalofer one mayor said they only want the money they are entitled to for the areas they live in.

The local mayors said that although municipal councils voted their budgets, money rarely comes in to the local villages and they would like this to change to ensure that their village are treated the same way as the larger towns and villages in Bulgaria why should we have to live with less services just because we live in a smaller settlement than those living in the bigger towns and villages

Mayors gave the state one month to prepare changes to the laws. So far this has not happened, so a mass protest is under preparation under the windows of the Council of Ministers on Saturday
